Lincoln Pictorial Magazine

On Feb. 9, 1913, The New York Times published a unique magazine that told the life and times of Abraham Lincoln through 195 historic pictures.

That publication, with many rare illustrations, has been reprinted on heavy-stock paper and is now available to the general public for the first in almost a century.

To provide a historical overview, The Times has added a full-page introduction by noted Lincoln historian Harold Holzer.

This llustrated history of Lincoln goes from the log cabin to the White House. There are also two pages on Lincoln's death.
